Kumamoto Brown Sugar Latte – Matcha & Kinako

Enjoy this gentle-tasting latte mix in cold weather, at Christmas or Valentine's Day, or iced in summer. Made with domestic pure brown sugar and organic Japanese tea, this powdered latte base is easy to prepare: simply dissolve it in milk, soy milk, almond milk, or your preferred milk alternative. It makes approximately 12 servings and includes a wooden spoon for measuring. Enjoy it hot or iced; roasted soybean powder adds a nutty aroma while matcha brings depth.

The ingredients include domestic pure brown sugar from sugarcane grown without pesticides during the cultivation period and organic Japanese tea. The sugarcane is carefully processed by hand, from cultivation and harvesting to pressing and concentration in a boiler, creating a mellow flavour without the harsh edge sometimes associated with brown sugar while preserving the tea's aroma. Some production steps are carried out with the support of a licensed food-hygiene employment-support facility that employs people with disabilities. Labelling and processing the latte powder are completed by hand in small batches.
